Having just celebrated two years in business, CC’s Café & Catering in Denver, NC, always serves up a warm, cozy feeling for breakfast and lunch.
For the month of February – and right in time for Valentine’s Day – there’s no better place to savor a festive, frothy beverage or to treat your sweetheart to their indescribable strawberry or red velvet pancakes!
Owners and sisters Crystal Chudoba and Angel Schoenhardt opened CC’s Café & Catering in January of 2021, and fun and laughter have always been in plentiful supply when customers stop by.
This February, make a point to sample some of their decadent Valentine’s specialty drinks with someone you love! Irresistible varieties include Raspberry Vanilla Pink Hot Chocolate, Chocolate Strawberry Mocha, Red Velvet Latte, Strawberry Cold Brew, Cupid Cappuccino and Cherry Garcia Mocha.
From the moment the café opened, being loyal to other small businesses has always been a priority. CC’s only serves Black Powder Coffee out of Mooresville, NC, which means their coffee, iced coffee, lattes and espresso are all delicious!
On the catering side, much of the event business happens in the Denver area, but they are happy to serve clients in any area within an approximate 30-mile radius. For loyal customers (the best customers, as Crystal notes), joining them for daily lunch specials, soups, salads and a tasty variety of specialty sandwiches has become a regular routine. So, when those customers begin planning an extra special occasion that needs amazing food, CC’s Cafe and Catering is always the first phone call!
“There are many great catering options and restaurants in the area, but I think our prices set us apart from anyone else,” said Crystal. “We try our best to offer affordable pricing for our community.”
She and Angel are inspired by that wonderful community spirit surrounding the Lake Norman area and love welcoming customers for menu items such as the “Mimi” – a slow-roasted, sliced beef sandwich on a kaiser roll topped with salt and caraway seeds, served with a side of au jus and horseradish sauce. A Buffalo favorite – where the sisters are from – this one is named after their mother. CC’s also serves a sandwich called the “Jear Bear,” named after their brother who passed away, which is a Philly steak sandwich with provolone cheese, served on a sub roll.
