Heather and Andrew bought the stylish resale stores in 2020, quickly building a loyal client base – including interior designers – who know the value of comfort and contentment when putting together the perfect retreat for the end of the day. Both shops feature unique furniture and décor, in an ever-changing landscape – what you might see today will likely be sold by next week. Heather says she and their talented team have recently been spotlighting the benefits of consignment furniture from a “quick purchase” standpoint.
“We can offer quality, durable furniture at an affordable price – and it’s readily available, right here!” shares Heather. “There are so many ‘fast furniture’ options out there, and so many of those are reducing the quality and dependability of the good.”
Supporting consignment shopping is also a sustainable habit – promoting less manufacturing overall and extending the life of some beautiful and valued pieces. You’ll be creating your own “style” with quality name brand pieces in lieu of buying the same furniture as everyone else. Continuing their tradition of welcoming new additions daily, the staff has also been highly focused on a brand new website that uploads photos of all items priced at more than $25, the minute the tag goes on and it hits the sales floor! Fun to browse and user friendly in every way, the website provides images, descriptions, measurements, pricing and what price reductions are expected – since their prices drop every 30 days. You can also see where the item is located in the store, a feature Heather says has had a huge impact on sales and foot traffic.

“Our fall décor rolled out in August, and our large Christmas display arrives in November!” says Heather. “This year, the entire back room at Consign on a Dime will feature Christmas and holiday items – and the website will also feature any holiday and seasonal items priced at more than $25.”
