“During all my client jobs, I look for the little details that no one else sees right away,” explains Ty. “I will not stop working until the job is accomplished perfectly and the homeowners are completely happy with the final result. I do professional quality work – from start to finish.”
Launched in early 2024, TLS Lawn & Landscape is based in Olin, NC, and Ty is happy to cover the entire Lake Norman area – anywhere from Statesville and Hickory to Mooresville and Huntersville. Every prospective job begins with a free consultation and estimate and a thorough look at the client’s overall vision for his or her home.
“I’ve been interested in landscaping since I was a kid,” adds Ty. “I always helped my parents with projects in their yard – and that drive has followed me to where I am now. I enjoy the work and seeing the final product once jobs are done.”
Ty’s professional services include mowing, trimming bushes and shrubs, installing both mulch and pine needles, creative rock installations, water/drain installations and replacements, sod installations, brush cutting, overseeding and fertilizing. He is certified in turf grass management through the University of Georgia.
With fall just around the corner, Ty offers suggestions on the most important lawn projects for homeowners to focus on.
“As the fall season approaches, be ready to remove leaves that have fallen onto your yard,” he offers. “This is the most ideal time to ‘overseed’ your yard to make sure it looks pure in the spring and summer of next year. It’s also a perfect time to trim bushes to keep them sharp and pristine for the approaching holidays.”
And, while mid- to late-August is the ultimate time for people with new homes to plant bushes and shrubs, Ty says you can still plant certain varieties – perennials, peonies and certain annuals – this time of year.
