It’s the most exciting time of year to be a shopper at The Red Barn Marketplace in Denver, as the family-owned store reveals its magical transformation for the holidays, kicking-off Saturday, November 9th with a festive Open House!

A celebration of community, kindness, and definitely a little magic, local residents will fall in love all over again with this gift and home décor shop turned winter wonderland — and this year, owner Laura Seagle is proud to introduce the business’s growing collaboration with White House Gardens.

“There’s no better way to support small, local businesses than by celebrating the holidays and gearing up for an outstanding new year!” shares Laura. “We’re going into our 10th year starting in May, and couldn’t be more proud of the success we’ve had in Denver. Thank you to all of our customers for their support! Now with White House here with us, hopefully we have many more years to come!”

Mark your calendars for what promises to be a festive day, savoring the delicious feeling of welcoming the holidays, with equally delicious burgers from Little Mountain Farm. Shoppers will also see a glimpse of even more good things coming via the addition of White House Gardens. Already a true, one-stop shopping experience — especially over the holidays — you’ll now have additional choices for beautiful outdoor décor, along with the fun, unique gift ideas and home accents you know you’ll always find at The Red Barn.

Laura and her husband have known White House Gardens owner Chris Smiley for 25 years, from his location in Cornelius, NC. 

“We decided to collaborate and become one of the biggest stores in Denver with both indoor and outdoor décor,” says Laura. “Chris is from Canada — he’s very witty, and brings a lot of excitement to the store. We love having him and all of his guys here — and so will our customers!”

The Red Barn Marketplace will be closed from November 1st through November 8th to transform into the glitz and glamour of Christmas, setting the stage for their holiday kick-off. Although the setting may look a bit different when you walk in, adding White House Gardens brings even more sense of community — which is always the number one priority.

“I feel like we’re constantly running ideas off other small businesses to help Denver continue to thrive and become a destination spot,” says Laura.

As always, The Red Barn will feature its annual “Walkin’ Around the Christmas Tree” community event from December 1st through December 7th, with the prize drawing held December 7th. 

“This year we’ll have one big tree in the center of the White House Gardens area, decorated by professional designers, with local businesses contributing donated baskets under the tree for customers to bid on,” Laura explains. “Proceeds will again go to Aiden’s Light Mission Fund, which supports underprivileged children both locally and abroad. If your business would like to participate, please call the store!”

Thanks to Little Mountain Farm, Lake Ridge Outdoors and lively tunes from Michael Cansler — plus the always exciting treasures you find at The Red Barn — November’s Open House promises to be a good time for husbands to come out while their wives are shopping, and enjoy sitting outside with some good music and local farm burgers!

“Our Open House always brings in a crowd, and adding other small businesses will hopefully create an even bigger event for us this year,” adds Laura.
