A true connoisseur of lake life, Dustin Keith is passionate about keeping families together – and making memories on the water!
He’s found the perfect niche with his 100% family owned and operated Aquaventure Boat Club, the longest running club on the lake. You’ll feel the difference starting with your first phone call or visit to one of their locations – at the All Seasons Marina location in Mooresville and The Landing location in Sherrills Ford. You can book a boat at either location – and most members visit both regularly, depending on their current location and family activity schedule. Dustin also prefers meeting prospective new boat club members face to face!

“I always tell people looking at a boat club membership that this is a true boating ‘family’ and to almost think of it as a marriage!” he shares. “We like to make sure we’re truly a good fit for them and that we’re 100% positive we can provide them with everything their family wants.”
Dustin’s main mission in creating Aquaventure 17 years ago was to provide an affordable way for the average family to get out on the water and spend much-needed quality time together.
“Boating with my family as a kid was some of the most fun times I’ve ever had and really gave me some of my greatest memories,” he explains. “That’s exactly what I want to produce with Aquaventure.”
Dustin also outlines the advantages of joining a boat club versus boat ownership.

“When looking at the cost of club membership versus boat ownership, a membership in our club is usually less expensive than even just leasing a boat slip to keep your boat in. For an amazing price, our members can be boating on vessels that would be well over a $1,600 per month payment – how exciting to have unlimited use of a fleet of more than four million dollars worth of boats – for only $279 a month! Yet another benefit members rave about is the ease of boating with our club’s services. Their boat is ready to go when they arrive, we help them with any water sports equipment they want to try, we fit the kids for lifejackets and, when they return, we clean everything up and put it away!” he adds.
If you’re wondering what sets Aquaventure Boat Club apart, simply consider their varied options, from surf boats, cabin cruisers and double-decker pontoons, to jet skis and everything in between. All club members have equal use and privileges (no tiered structures within your membership) – and the club is open year-round with not only boat rentals included, but also kayaks, paddle boards, surf boards, water skis and all other water sports equipment.

“We also own our own marina with a waterfront hotel, waterfront restaurant, ice cream shop and Tiki Bar – plus our club yacht and party boat are capable of taking up to 30 members out at a time for special events,” Dustin adds.
While the fleet depicted on the website is a good representation, Dustin suggests the best way to view every boat offered is to schedule a tour. Many new vessels are constantly being added!
Aquaventure also offers introductory lessons for all new boat club members – regardless of prior boating experience – that include the basics of safety equipment, starting and stopping the engine, boating safety, life preservers and what to do in the event of an emergency. Lessons also cover the fundamentals of “boatmanship” that are so important as you navigate life on the lake.
Proud of the families that are making the most of club memberships and time together, Dustin also happily shares that every member helps provide food and medicine for dozens of children around the world, sponsored by Aquaventure.
“A portion of our membership dues goes to fund charities we truly believe in such as Compassion International, JAARS and Present Age Ministries,” Dustin explains.
