As devoted pet owners of a pair of German Shepherds – Indy and Ichigo – entrepreneurs Haley Good and Ron Head recognized the lack of truly one-on-one quality groomers in the area and have promised to change that!
Last March, they proudly opened Canine Country Club, offering a full menu of premium grooming services in Rowan County, and the best and safest pet experience around. Rave reviews of their compassion, technique, communication and top-notch customer service are spreading fast!
It’s just the two of them – as Haley says, a small but mighty team – but their four-legged clientele is thankful for their undivided attention and obvious love for what they do.
“We offer a complete 1:1 luxury service,” Haley explains. “While your pet is with us, we are hands-on from the minute they arrive. There are no cages here and no loud, stressful barking – we are truly a SPA experience!”
Rates are based on size and weight, with currently a 100-pound limit for canine clients. To estimate where your pup falls: Small = 0-15 pounds, Medium = 16-30 pounds, Large = 31-45 pounds, X-Large = 46-40 pounds and Giant = 61+ pounds.
Doggie-approved services range from a simple bath and blowout session to the “Country Club Makeover” which includes a bath, blowout, nails, anal gland expression, de-shed if necessary, a breed-specific haircut and a spritz of doggy cologne! Only 20 minutes from downtown Mooresville, Canine Country Club is open seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., so it’s an easy drop-off while you’re running errands – and complete peace of mind for both you and your beloved pup!
Haley also reminds us that if you’re a new puppy parent, bringing your pup in for regular grooming appointments right from the beginning ensures they will feel comfortable with a “spa” experience as part of their normal routine.
