As always, it was a total family affair for Little Mountain Farm & Cattle Co. on Saturday, July 20th, as excitement for sampling their incredible beef brought more than 500 guests from around the community to The Red Barn Marketplace in Denver, NC. The family owned farm’s very first “Steak by the Lake” event was a huge success and an incredible blessing!
“Our entire family at Little Mountain Farm is beyond grateful and humbled at the community support at our first ever event,” shares Little Mountain Farm Co-owner, Robbie Dye. “If it wasn’t for our dear friends and retail partner, The Red Barn Marketplace, this event wouldn’t have been possible. We can’t wait to make an announcement about our next event date and location very soon!”
Lucky visitors that Saturday afternoon enjoyed free samples that included more than 350 burger sliders, 120 bratwurst and 15 pounds of prime steak, all with delicious rave reviews! It was well worth the long wait in line – plus the golden opportunity to purchase Little Mountain Farm goodness to take home!
Along with relaxing front porch acoustic music by Michael Cansler, the best shopping inside The Red Barn Marketplace, exciting giveaways and an all around amazing community vibe, it was the perfect family outing – which means the world to Robbie and his family, who continue to build on their commitment to farming and ranching. Their thriving family business is a tribute to the spirit and strength of generational farming – a commitment they lovingly hope to instill in their young children.
The Little Mountain Farm customer base is growing rapidly, as neighbors and friends pass on their glowing recommendations, after savoring the deliciousness and the value of their 100% pasture raised, grass-fed and grain-finished 21-Day Dry Aged USDA Angus beef. Since opening in January of 2024, Little Mountain Farm & Cattle Co. has offered access, convenience and fast, first class service to customers ordering their Angus beef.
Most recently, Little Mountain Farm announced their expanded product offering of USDA inspected pasture raised Berkshire Pork. Berkshire is amongst the finest breed of hogs in the business producing an extremely tender and marbled pork product. The product lineup includes pork chops, Boston butts, bacon, bratwurst, breakfast patties, whole tenderloin, St. Louis ribs, baby back ribs and ground pork.
It’s easy to place online orders for beef and pork (sold frozen and vacuum sealed) and arrange for local pickup, seven days a week, at both The Red Barn Marketplace and Lakeside Farmers Market (who also retail their products in store), as well as at Lake Norman Area Farmers Market in Denver, on Saturday mornings during market hours. Coming soon, Little Mountain Farm will announce its expansion of a new order pickup location and retail partner in Lincolnton, NC.
