Summit Place of Mooresville

by JAMARI THORNE | Community Engagement Director

Searching for senior living options for your loved one is a HUGE responsibility that no one truly talks about. You start off confused about what senior living looks like! Pair that confusion with the guilt of even considering moving your loved one out of the only home they’ve ever known and you’re off to a tough start! No one really wants to have that hard of a conversation!

Summit Place takes the nerve wrecking, stomach wrenching moment that you’ve put in the back of your mind and provides you with peace of mind, knowing that your loved ones are safe and dearly loved.

Summit Place has lived in the heart of Mooresville for 23 years, making it the most mature community in town. Currently, this community offers both Memory Care and Assisted Living styles, allowing our residents to age comfortably within one home.

Our traditional appearance allows our community to feel “like home” for our seniors. Our mission is for our seniors to live as independently as possible while assuring them a phenomenal quality of care.  We have honored that promise to our families and our residents. Each resident that joins Summit Place gets the opportunity to experience all that Summit has to offer including a variety of meals and snacks served daily, cable TV, WIFI, weekly laundry and housekeeping service, and daily bed service. Our caregivers provide dedicated care for our residents. When they aren’t providing care, they make it their mission to spend quality time with all our seniors.

Our goal is to keep our seniors upbeat and happy, and we do that by creating daily activities and events for our residents to enjoy. We held an Epic Gala in June, and we partied our socks off!! We are planning a summer fish fry, right at Summit on the last Friday of July, so make sure you bring an appetite if you plan to stop by!

We are a smaller community which creates a big sense of family for our residents and our team. We share good days and not so good days. We laugh together and we cry together. Every one of our residents is our family and our family continues to grow each month.  Will you join us?

We welcome any families to stop by and visit us to see our community in person. I look forward to seeing your new smiling faces!
