The Untouchables – Celebrating Fall With the Return of Their Amazing Buffet

There’s delicious news in the air at The Untouchables restaurant in Denver, NC!

Happy Lake Norman residents are eagerly spreading the word that the much-loved Untouchables buffet is back in business!

“With all the delays and shipping issues related to Covid, we’ve been without the buffet since that time,” shares Owner Scott Gilleland. “We are seeing an overwhelming response from customers that the buffet is on the menu once again. Everyone is extremely excited and happy to have it back!”

The return of this incredible buffet option means treating yourself to pizza buffalo bites, baked spaghetti, cheese bread, your choice of soup or salad, and dessert pizza can again be a regular to-do on your list of weekly outings! The buffet will be available from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on any day that The Untouchables is open – which is every day except Monday.

It’s just one more mouthwatering feature of dining at this popular, family owned Denver destination that also gets rave reviews for its excellent customer service. After 41 years in business, The Untouchables is proud to boast an extensive customer base of restaurant regulars – loyal folks who are now treating their children and grandchildren to all the goodness on their menu. Simply the best pizza around, order it in your choice of deep dish or thin, with traditional favorite toppings, or try one of their specialty pizzas like barbecue chicken, Philly cheesesteak or vegetarian. Or, maybe you’re in the mood for a gourmet burger, tasty wings with any flavor variation you like, delicious quesadillas, homemade spaghetti and the freshest soups and salads.

Some details about a business simply speak for themselves, and Scott is proud to say that each day at the restaurant starts with a bag of flour – to make their own dough from scratch. Pizza sauce and spaghetti sauce are also made in house, and vegetables are always fresh cut on the spot.

“Our cheese is ground and blended here every single day as well,” adds Scott, who loves sharing the team’s very best personal recipes with loyal customers.

With fall finally here, Scott relies on the talents of longtime restaurant manager, Hope Wise, who dedicates her time to organizing events and fundraisers for local schools, churches, nonprofit groups and those neighbors in need.
