Servings: 12

Prep time: 35 minutes

Total time: 60 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups unsalted butter, browned
  • 1 ½ cups light brown sugar
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • ½ tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 2 ½ cups flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 15 golden Oreos, chopped
  • 5 golden Oreos, crumbled
  • ½ cup red, white and blue sprinkles

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and spray a 9×13 baking pan with nonstick spray.
  2. Brown the butter in a saucepan on the stove – this will take about 10 minutes, and you’ll want to stir constantly until it starts to foam and brown. Cool the butter in the fridge for 10 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, combine the brown sugar and the butter, and stir until mixed well. Beat in the eggs and the egg yolks until smooth and then add the vanilla.
  4. In a different bowl, combine the dry ingredients and mix well.
  5. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until well combined. Stir in the chopped Oreos.
  6. Add the sprinkles and fold in.
  7. Spread the blondie mixture in the 9×13 pan and top with the Oreo crumbs and additional sprinkles.
  8. Bake for 25-35 minutes or until the top is golden.
  9. Allow to cool and cut into squares. Enjoy!
