Sickle Cell Disease affects an estimated 100,000 people across the U.S. and thousands more across the globe. “Sickle on the Green” is an annual charity golf tournament designed to raise awareness about Sickle Cell Anemia.
This charity golf tournament supports Sickle Cell Partners of the Carolinas (SCPOC), a non-profit established in 2009 for patients and families affected by sickle cell disease. The mission of SCPOC is simple: We seek to provide a network of support for patients and families affected by Sickle Cell Anemia, raise awareness and educate the community, and advocate for a cure.
