Celebrating Two Years of LKN Magazine

Two years ago, Keela Johnson, the visionary behind Forsyth Woman and Forsyth Family magazines, swapped her suburban life in Winston-Salem for the serene shores of Lake Norman. But, retirement didn’t last long! Inspired by the lake’s vibrant community, Keela launched LKN Magazine, a celebration of everything that makes Lake Norman special.

Today, we’re thrilled to mark LKN Magazine’s second anniversary! What started as a dream has become the go-to source for all things Lake Norman – showcasing local businesses, community heroes and the unique lake lifestyle. Every issue captures the heart and soul of the area, from charming boutiques to must-attend events.

This success is all thanks to our amazing team! From our creative designers and engaging social media manager to our dedicated account executives, editors and writers, everyone plays a part in bringing LKN Magazine to life. And, let’s not forget our talented photographers and distribution team who ensure our magazine reaches far and wide.

As we celebrate this milestone, we’re excited for what’s next. To our readers and advertisers, your support is our driving force. Here’s to many more years of celebrating the spirit of Lake Norman together!
