Dear residents of North Carolina,
I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible honor of being named the 2024 Miss North Carolina for America on May 5, 2024!
My journey to this beautiful state began with aspirations of diving headfirst into the adrenaline-fueled world of NASCAR, a racecar driver myself – this passion was instilled in me at a young age by my racing family. Upon arriving in Race City USA back in 2013, the tall trees and winding paths through the mountains instantly stole my heart. From the coastline to the racetracks, the past 11 years of calling North Carolina my home has offered me boundless opportunities and unforgettable experiences both in my personal and professional life.
In my time here – I have been able to not only fulfill my dreams in NASCAR, but also to carry the extraordinary privilege of representing our state as Miss North Carolina for America. This title carries with it a profound sense of responsibility – one that I wholeheartedly embrace with enthusiasm and unwavering dedication.
I am grateful for the support and encouragement I have received from the community, my friends and my family throughout this journey. It is with immense pride that I accept this role, knowing that I have the privilege of serving as an ambassador for North Carolina and advocating for causes that are close to my heart.
As Miss North Carolina for America, I am committed to using this platform to make a positive impact both in the community and nationwide. I hope to inspire others to reach for their dreams and never give up on their passions, no matter what.
Throughout my reign, you will find me at many events statewide – meeting others and giving back through my foundation dedicated to building children’s literacy and many other organizations to impact change. You may also find me at a racetrack where I will likely be hosting, pit-reporting or just enjoying a night at the races. Please say “hi!”
I am deeply honored to have the opportunity to contribute to this great state and represent North Carolina this August in the Miss for America pageant in Las Vegas.

*Jacklyn Drake was formerly Miss Lake Norman 2024 and now holds the title of Miss North Carolina for America 2024. She will go on to compete nationwide and represent the state of North Carolina on August 25th in Las Vegas for the title of Miss for America.*
