Air Fryer Tandoori Chicken Wings

The perfect appetizer to make for Saturday and Sunday football this fall! 

Servings: 16 wings

Prep time: 40 minutes

Cook time: 20 minutes

Total time: 60 minutes

Ingredients:

  • ~2 pounds chicken wings, raw
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 T lemon juice
  • 1 T grated ginger or ginger paste
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 T flour
  • 1 ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. turmeric powder
  • 1 T garam masala
  • 1 T cumin
  • 1 T chili powder
  • 2 tsp. paprika
  • Cilantro, chopped, for garnishing

Instructions:

  1. Remove the tips of the chicken wings and split them at the joint. Pat dry with paper towels and trim off excess fat with kitchen shears.
  2. In a large bowl, combine yogurt, ginger paste, minced garlic, lemon juice, flour, salt, turmeric, garam masala, cumin, chili powder and paprika. Mix well.
  3. Add the wings and toss until well coated. Let it marinate in the fridge for up to four hours.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees. Place the chicken wings in a single layer, and cook for 22-25 minutes. Shake the basket a few times in between. 
  5. Garnish with the chopped cilantro before serving. Enjoy!
