While you’re right on target with NRRC’s wide array of family oriented programming and wellness inspiration, there is so much more to love about this beautiful venue!
Situated on 40 acres of lush, beautiful forest, you’ll also discover an incredible 85,000 square feet of indoor space at the center – ready and waiting for you to CELEBRATE all of life’s special occasions!
“As we prepare to commemorate our second anniversary in June, you’ll find our amazing location is designed not only to ‘recreate’ but also to celebrate,” explains Stephanie Stone, senior recreation facility manager. “The rental space possibilities here are endless!”
Creating a special event at Northern Regional Recreation Center is a fun, easy way to bring friends and family together socially, in a space that truly radiates positivity! Think birthday parties, bridal or baby showers, family or school reunions, committee meetings or even the perfect location to host neighborhood events when you need a central gathering spot.
Visit the website – parkandrec.mecknc.gov – for details on renting a wonderful space within NRRC for your next event. Six different birthday party packages are available, ranging from 12 to 20 guests, and all packages include 90 minutes of swimming in the leisure pool and 60 minutes of food and fun in the party room. For children’s parties, parents are responsible for set-up and decorations, napkins, entrée plates, food and drinks, while NRRC provides silverware, dessert plates, cups and ice, goodie bags and a special gift for the birthday child!
If you’ll be hosting a pre-wedding shower or luncheon, a reunion or other life celebration, Northern Regional Recreation Center offers rental of classrooms and community rooms, as well as a spacious event hall that can accommodate a maximum guest list of 428 people (standing), and includes 20 tables and 80 chairs. Rental of the event hall does require a four-hour minimum party time.
