If your childhood was blessed with lazy afternoons spent with your family on the lake, you’ll understand why Dustin Keith’s vision as owner of Aquaventure Boat Club has come full circle.
A Coast Guard licensed master captain, Dustin has been boating since the age of 14 and has – in turn – savored every detail of spending time on the lake with his own kids making lifelong memories. He also loves sharing the tender ages at which they each began joining in his passion for the water.

“Isaiah is my oldest. He is 21 years old and started working with me when he was four years old! He just graduated Liberty University with a degree in pastoral leadership.

Esther, age 19, teaches preschool and has worked with me from the time she was 10.

Abigail is 16 years old and currently works for Chick-fil-A, but she worked with me from age 10 until age 15.

Luke, my youngest, is eight years old and just started working with me last year,” Dustin shares proudly.
Passing on that legacy of a “life on the water” means everything, and sharing that dedication with family, friends and new Lake Norman residents is what has made Aquaventure Boat Club the longest established boat club in the area.
While legacies are shaped in many forms, lake enthusiasts recognize the strong connection they feel in the great outdoors where every sunrise launches a new opportunity to bond with nature, neighbors and, most of all, family.

At its heart, Aquaventure Boat Club is meant to build and nurture your entire lake experience. When Dustin and Andrea started out on their own dream journey, the two were determined to build something meaningful; and seeing that carried over to Lake Norman families today means the world to them. For some, that means the first wakeboard lessons with a child, sharing vacation time with extended family and bonding with neighbors who share your love for the lake.
One hundred percent family owned and operated, Aquaventure Boat Club proudly features a fleet of more than 50 vessels with two locations – the All Seasons Marina location in Mooresville and The Landing location in Sherrills Ford – and the club operates year round. With convenient access to the lake’s best waters, members also enjoy the unique benefit of Aquaventure’s own waterfront hotel, restaurant and Tropical Sno shaved ice stand, adding up to even more priceless family experiences.
“Our mission has been clear from the beginning – to create an adventure that connects families in the most wonderful ways,” shares Dustin. “And we treat every member and guest the way we would want to be treated.”

Aquaventure Boat Club is also all about value, and it’s known as the least expensive boat club on Lake Norman, without ever sacrificing quality or service. Engaging with the boat club is a seamless, professional experience, thanks to a friendly staff that’s always focused on exactly what your family needs. From ski boats, surf boats, electric boats and jet skis to their fleet of cabin cruisers and double-decker pontoons, seeing a family enthusiastically come aboard for the first time is the success Dustin and his staff strive to achieve.

“A membership in our club is usually much less expensive than even leasing a boat slip to keep your boat in,” Dustin shares. “Members also rave about the ease of boating with our club’s services. Their boat is ready to go when they arrive, we assist with any water sports equipment they want to try, fit the kids for lifejackets and clean everything when they return!”
For customer convenience, a full-access membership, joint membership and weekday-only membership are all available, yet Dustin knows his greatest achievement with Aquaventure isn’t based on the number of current members. Every Aquaventure team member knows his or her real success is evident when a mom or dad teaches a child to steer the boat for the first time and in the sounds of pure joy coming from laughter among families and friends.

If you truly know Lake Norman, you know the main vibe here isn’t only about boating – it’s about making endless memories, while leaving children and grandchildren realizing every day on the lake was time well spent!
