Some events simply become traditions, and for many of our guests, the annual return of jewelry designer Kristen Baird® Jewelry has become one of the most anticipated weekends of the summer at Juelerye | Artisan Gallery & Gifts.
We are thrilled to welcome Kristen back for her third annual trunk show during Christmas in July in Downtown Mooresville. She will be joining us at the gallery Friday, July 24 from 6–8 PM and Saturday, July 25 from 11 AM–2 PM.
Over the past several years, Kristen’s jewelry has developed a loyal following among our customers, many of whom return year after year to add another meaningful piece to their collection. Known for her sculptural textures, flowing lines, and timeless aesthetic, Kristen creates jewelry that feels both sophisticated and deeply personal. Her work balances modern minimalism with an organic softness that makes each piece feel timeless, wearable, and distinctive.
Personally, I have long been obsessed with Kristen’s rings. If you visit the gallery, chances are you will see my fingers delightfully decorated with her designs. In fact, Kristen even designed my wedding ring, which makes her work feel especially meaningful to me. I think that personal connection is part of what resonates so deeply with so many women who discover her work. Her jewelry becomes part of your story and part of your everyday life.
What makes this event especially meaningful is the opportunity to meet Kristen herself. Guests will have the chance to explore her newest collections, discover one-of-a-kind pieces, and hear firsthand about the inspiration and craftsmanship behind the designs. From sterling silver and gold to thoughtfully selected gemstones, each piece reflects Kristen’s passion for creating jewelry women truly connect with and continue wearing for years to come.
Throughout the weekend, the gallery will feature an expanded selection of Kristen’s work, including styles and designs not typically available year-round. Guests will also have the opportunity to discuss custom commissions, heirloom redesigns, and styling ideas directly with Kristen in the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that has become synonymous with the Juelerye experience.
One of the things we love most about Kristen’s annual visit is that it truly feels personal. Kristen travels to Lake Norman each year with her husband, Drew, and their two boys, Paxton and Preston, who have also grown to love the area. When they are not at the gallery, the family can often be found enjoying the biking trails, restaurants, and everything else the Lake Norman community has to offer. Over the years, what began as a gallery event has evolved into something that feels much more like reconnecting with friends each summer.
This year’s event also arrives during an especially interesting time within the jewelry industry, as rising gold and silver prices continue to impact designers and consumers. Rather than compromising quality, Kristen continues to focus on craftsmanship, meaningful custom work, and creating pieces intended to be worn and treasured for years to come.
In addition to her trunk shows and collections, Kristen has also begun offering private jewelry parties and events, creating even more opportunities for women to gather, connect, and experience her jewelry in a relaxed and personal setting.
The weekend will also coincide with our annual Toys for Tots collection, adding another layer of community and generosity to a gathering that has become such a meaningful summer tradition for so many of our guests.
