Growing up, a young Ingrid always loved taking her own photos and videos, then piecing them together to create clever little movies. “I started taking photography seriously while in college and, with the help of my professor, I started getting freelance jobs,” Ingrid shares.
She’s now been dedicated to both photography and videography for the past 10 years – and most recently, added a strong focus on content creation for social media to her repertoire.
Her creative projects at Ingrid Russell Photography & Videography include family photo opportunities, headshots, events and business promotion. She especially enjoys sharing the personal stories of small business owners and elevating every aspect of what they do.
Ingrid’s longtime passion is now a full time adventure – one she happily balances with family. She’s a wife to husband, T.J., mother to son, J.J. (5), and to the family pup, Luna.
“Being a mama has never been a challenge – but more of a motivation,” Ingrid explains. “I want to show my son how hard work, perseverance and mainly lots of prayer, can help you be successful in life. I’m blessed to have a supportive husband and family who always jump in whenever we need them!”
Originally from Costa Rica, Ingrid’s parents moved here when she was young, and she grew up on the western side of Lincoln County. Since getting married, she now calls Denver, NC home.
“On the business side, I truly understand having a dream, the vision of a new business and making it successful,” she shares. “I want to use the gifts God has given me to help clients bring their visions and dreams to life, helping them become more successful by telling their story and sharing their business dreams with the world around them. Being a business owner requires you to wear many hats, so I want to take the stress of keeping up with social media and content creation away from business owners, so they can focus on what they love!”
Ingrid adores being able to capture the memories and moments in life that go by too fast – giving families a chance to look back at those times with their loved ones and have a photograph or video they can always cherish.
Between Ingrid’s dedication to family and faith, finding daily inspiration for her craft is easy.
“I always go to God for direction, and I believe He has given me these creative gifts,” she adds. “I want to honor Him by returning that into the world and helping others. That’s what motivates me – knowing this is something that God has blessed me with. I must do it well to honor Him and, of course, provide for my family.”
