Real Estate Broker Ayla Johnson has lived in the Lake Norman area since the age of one — and has grown to love literally everything about the lake!
“I know the Lake Norman area extremely well because I have spent so much time here — and in the surrounding areas,” she shares. “A lot of my free time is spent on the lake with my family and friends, trying new restaurants in the area, and exploring all the different towns and communities close by.”
As a broker with Better Homes & Gardens | Foothills in Hickory, but also serving the Lake Norman area, Ayla is inspired daily as she helps families find a home amid everything the lake has to offer.
“Buying or selling a house is such a big deal, and I love getting to make this experience less stressful and more exciting for clients,” she shares. “I also meet all my clients as individuals, and help them find not only a house, but a home that fits their needs. Every client is different, and I love hearing exactly what they need — and then working my hardest to find that for them.”
Ayla began her career in the field of real estate with a passion for working with people and building new relationships.
“Growing up, I moved around a bit and was also part of a family of six, so finding a house that everyone fell in love with — and that met all our needs — was huge! I’ve always understood how ‘big’ the house-buying experience is, and I think around the time I was 14, I knew I wanted to be part of this industry,” she shares.
Also drawn to marketing and design, Ayla started working for Better Homes & Gardens | Foothills, knowing she wanted to work for a company that values relationships, community, and service. It’s been a perfect fit so far!
“I believe so many people are attracted to the Lake Norman area because it offers the best of both worlds: It gives you beautiful water views, boating, golf, and all the great outdoors, but it also gives you the convenience of being close to bigger cities and all the things they have to offer. With so many wonderful neighborhoods, schools, and restaurants, it has just such a wonderful community feel that everyone loves.”
