Together in the Kitchen
Sisters Crystal Chudoba and Angel Schoenhardt opened CCs in January 2021, driven by love, resilience, and the dream of starting fresh. After enduring immense personal loss during the pandemic — losing their mother and grandmother just 32 days apart — the timing felt right for a new beginning.
“Angel and I both knew we wanted to build something meaningful, something from the heart,” Crystal shares. “Our goal from the beginning was to spread love, laughter, and good food.”
Combining Crystal’s culinary arts background with Angel’s experience in healthcare management, the sisters turned their complementary skills into a smooth-running, soul-filled business.
More Than a Menu
Every item on the menu at CC’s carries a personal story. One slow-roasted beef sandwich on a kaiser roll pays tribute to their mother, while a Philly steak sub was created in honor of their brother.
Even breakfast orders reflect the family flair. The CC’s Special — two eggs, home fries, toast, and your choice of meat — remains a fan favorite, alongside breakfast wraps, omelets, and build-your-own bowls.
And coffee lovers, take note: CC’s proudly serves Black Powder Coffee from Mooresville, staying true to their mission of supporting other local businesses.
Serving with Heart
From the start, Crystal and Angel knew affordability would be part of their mission. Whether you’re grabbing a quick breakfast or planning catering for a crowd, their prices and service stand out. Most of their catering is local, but they happily serve up to a 30-mile radius, making them a go-to for office events, community functions, and family gatherings.
“We believe great food should be accessible, and we love being part of people’s special moments,” says Crystal.
