4th of July Chocolate Covered Pretzels

These festive chocolate-covered pretzel rods are dipped in creamy white chocolate, sprinkled with red, white, and blue, and make the perfect sweet-and-salty treat for any patriotic celebration.

Servings: 8

Prep time: 10 minutes Total time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 8 pretzel rods
  • Red, white, and blue sprinkles

Instructions:

  1. Add the white chocolate chips to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 20-30 second increments, stirring between each, until smooth and fully melted.
  2. Holding each pretzel rod by one end, dip it into the melted white chocolate, covering about half to two-thirds of the rod. Let the extra chocolate drip off.
  3. While the chocolate is still wet, hold the pretzel over a plate and sprinkle the red, white, and blue sprinkles all over the chocolate-coated part. Rotate the pretzel to get all sides.
  4. Place the pretzels on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Let them sit at room temperature until the chocolate hardens or pop them in the fridge for 10–15 minutes to speed things up.
  5. Once set, they’re ready to eat. Great for parties, cookouts, or just a sweet-salty snack.
