Bringing together irresistible cuisine, incredible service, festive drinks and an endless tropical vibe, Owners Patti, Steve and Travis Merkel have happily realized their vision of the perfect neighborhood bar and grill.
This June, the Latitudes team will celebrate a 10th anniversary, sharing the best of its warm atmosphere and island-enhanced American menu with lucky patrons. The 10-year anniversary celebration will happen beginning June 1st – for 10 days of $10 specials – along with special live music, karaoke, cornhole games and more.
“With our anniversary, I’m most inspired by watching our concept evolve from Sweet Destinations – our original breakfast and lunch concept – to a full-service experience with so many creative options,” shares Patti.
She also appreciates proudly watching her team grow in their positions with the restaurant – and as young adults – while also giving back to the community.
“We have partnered with local charities including Fishing for a Cure for the American Cancer Society, Vets and Pets, which provides resources for local veterans and first responders with PTSD, and Angels to the Animals. Our sense of community is strong, with so many regulars who have supported us through thick and thin, especially during Covid,” she adds. “We have made so many great friends at work!”
The full Latitudes menu is brimming with crowd favorites that include pasta, salads, wraps, seafood and burgers, which are half-pound certified angus beef. Look for new lunch specials starting at $10.99, along with immensely popular appetizers made for sharing, such as Blackened Mahi Bites, Thai Chili Shrimp and Buffalo Chicken Bites. Liven up your dining and mingling with friends with popular signature cocktails including a Jalapeño Pineapple Margarita, Risk it for Hibiscus or Latitude Mule. Look for a new menu with exciting new adult beverages coming soon, as well as a new non-alcoholic “mocktail” menu. As summer arrives, Latitudes is also excited to open its outdoor patio, providing additional seating for 32 people.
“That area sets up nicely for kids, cornhole tournaments, outdoor music and, of course, our furry friends who we love having on our patio!” says Patti. “Don’t miss our Kids’ Night Out/Movie on the Lawn event on Monday, May 27th, perfect for your kids to celebrate the end of the school year. We’ll celebrate with a movie on our outdoor screen, popcorn and other snacks.”
Live music happens at Latitudes on select Saturdays, and once a month you’ll find “open mic night” which brings in many talented local singers and musicians.
