There’s no cozier space to welcome the much-anticipated fall season than at Home, Heart & Soul in Cornelius, NC. That true feel of “home is where the heart is” surrounds you immediately in this charming house on the town’s historic east side. Owner Lori Savio curated her amazing retail and design space so you get a sense of decorating your own home while shopping!
“Our unique collection of home décor and accessories gives customers options for making their homes truly reflect their personalities,” says Lori. The warm, welcoming space also showcases Lori’s design business, which includes consultation, custom window treatments, kitchen and bath remodeling, and everything in between.
“I love being able to go into people’s homes and make a difference in the way they dwell each day,” explains Lori, emphasizing her favorite design advice — “love where you live, and make it your own!”
While your thoughts are turning towards cooler weather and autumn social gatherings, join Home, Heart & Soul, in collaboration with Luna’s Lifestyle, to present a wonderful event on September 23, 2023. The “pARTy” at the shop will take place from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. that Saturday. Relax with signature cocktails, delicious savories, and acoustic music by Joe Higgins — while enjoying an introduction to original art from local artists, fall apparel and jewelry, and the most unique fall décor to transition your own home to a colorful new season. Bring along some old friends and make a few new ones!
“When we transition over to fall, we tend to add textures — even velvets,” says Lori. “I’m always looking for elements that warm up your home instantly! This is the ultimate season of gathering, after all!”
You’ll find this includes beautiful crafted throw pillows in vivid colors in the shop, porcelain serve ware that boasts a wood look — including an exquisite wood/gold charcuterie board — and, of course, pumpkins.
“One of our favorite fall items is the handiwork of artist Dale Barattini,” Lori explains. “Her exquisite painted pumpkins — in various sizes — make wonderful gifts, and even better treasures for your own home, perfect to decorate with for many years to come. We have so many creative fall accents to enhance your dining table all season long, or maybe to dress up a sideboard or mantel. Come see some of our styling ideas to re-create in your own home!”
You’ll also want to pick up one of Home, Heart & Soul’s signature candles for the new season, called Intentionally Fall. It’s a relaxing mix of pumpkin, spice, and other cozy scents that remind us the holidays are not far behind.
